Karen Alger & Tony Fischer

The highlight of Tony’s and Karen’s wedding ceremony was none of the things you might normally expect. Don’t get me wrong. Everything was great!

Troutdale House

The Troutdale House was the perfect setting for this intimate wedding.  Karen was a lovely bride (perfect gown and flowers, hair and make-up) and Tony was a handsome groom (perfectly fitted tux from Mr. Formal  in Gresham and a great haircut!). Karen was especially pleased with Mr Formal’s customer service!

The minister [yours truly] was distinguished looking and added just the right touch of humor (if I do say so myself!).

“You got high reviews from us and our guests.  We got many compliments about how smoothly it went and how entertaining you were.

The Troutdale House Staff did their jobs to a T.  The food, provided by Catering by Laurie [503-642-3934503-642-3934] was delicious.  Their DJ, Rick Hall [503-657-0974503-657-0974] was very flexible and attentive, even coming to the rehearsal the day before to be assured he had the timing down for the ceremony.

The emotional highlight, though, happened just before Tony and Karen said their vows to each other, when Tony addressed Karen’s children. He had heart-felt words for her daughter and two sons, declaring his appreciation to each for their character, attitudes & talents. He confirmed his love for them and his commitment to be parent and friend. He only choked once!
